FEMMES is our 2022 floral series dedicated to culturally, politically, and historically significant women throughout the ages. At the Calyx, some of Sydney’s favourite florists will create fresh floral tributes based on a photograph or painting of 17 notable women including superstar and pop culture icon Kylie Minogue, groundbreaking painter Frida Kahlo, trailblazing Indigenous activist and educator Dr. Evelyn Scott and three-time Grand Slam winning tennis player Ash Barty to name but a few.
At this stunning floral extravaganza, you can also catch talks and demonstrations from expert florists, scientists and horticulturists, indulge in a French High Tea or Bottomless Rosé Brunch, shop for beautiful flowers at a pop-up market, and participate in one of the many botanical-inspired creative workshops.
